Mom and Pickle had a crazy busy day yesterday and my Mom wasn’t in the mood to cook by the time it ended and I can’t blame her.
Now I CAN cook but since I had an Excedrin headache the size of North America, I chose not too. So I made an executive decision and walked around the corner to Pizza Pizza to grab dinner.
As I was walking past the Tim Hortons I ran into (not literally) an elderly couple and their adorable American Eskimo, Redwood. “Red” for short. Red ran right up to me and put his paws on my thigh while I scratched his ears and cooed over how cute he was.
I started talking to his owners while absently scratching Red’s ears when I became aware of a lot of activity in the area of my lower leg. Now my first thought was he was miffed that I wasn’t paying attention to him.
Well…I was wrong.
I looked down to find Red humping my leg with a considerable amount of zeal.
The elderly couple was MORTIFIED!
I laughed it off and said it was okay. If they weren’t older than dirt, I might have said something like “Most action I’ve seen in awhile”. But I didn’t think either of their hearts could withstand the added shock. They hustled off in a hurry. Poor buggers.
So there you go, at least dogs find my legs sexy.
It’s quite scary that getting my leg humped by a dog was the highlight of my evening.
Or maybe pathetic is a better word.
