OY! I’ve been trying to update for AGES. I have SO MUCH to say! What else is new right?
Lets start with Lex’s Birthday on the 18th of September. Voodoo Lex, Corina, Soon to Be Mom and her hubby, and various other cool people met up at Lex’s place and watched Survivor. The beer and conversation flowed. We all marveled at Soon to be Mom’s little kicking bundle. One thing about being pregnant is that everyone wants to touch your tummy…Hahahaha. I never minded that at all. After survivor we hit the bar (minus Soon to be Mom and her Hubby) and drank some more, played pool, and I even danced (I use the term loosely). All and all I think the night was a success. Everyone had a good time, everyone got hammered, I managed to stick my ass in Matt’s face by accident… yeah it was a good night.
On to the weekend!… Pickle and I did lots of walking, baked some cookies, and played in the park. It was relaxing. Those are the best kinds of weekends.
As for this week it’s been CRAZY at work. Though I still manage to find time to send an email…or two…or 45…Hahahah. Micheal started school full time this week. He started out slowly because change is very difficult for him, but he’s been loving it and doing very well.
*sigh* He’s so big now. Grade 5. I had to buy binders, and a scientific calculator… Grade 5. I remember Grade 5. Clearly. Now my son is making his own memories. Grade 5. This feels so momentous to me. Where has the time gone?
